http://www.loxleystudio.com Welcome to Loxley Studio, Fine Art Animal Portraiture from Sherry Gore-Paglen. Immortalize your "Best Friend".
"Horses are the magic that move my soul. |
My dream, my life, my love, is Animals, especially horses. I paint in acrylics and pastels as well as graphic sketches. My goal is to capture the soul of the animal. I believe the eye is the "window to the soul" in all living things. My art is meant to set you dreaming!
Photograhy is another passion, and I have most recently won an award from the National Photography Society in Washington, D.C. The photo is of my horse, and is named "Eye of My Beloved."
In my studio, "Loxley Studio," all kinds of card are made: note cards, thank you cards and general note cards--all taken from my own photography collection. Christmas cards are delightful animal scenes. Her latest endeavor is silhouette art.
I am also in the process of creating inspirational plaques which make you think. They are also excellent gifts for any occasion.
Lastly, I make wooden horse shoe racks, that can be personalized for an additional charge. They are constructed with a solid brass horse shoe in various sizes, including bright colored ones for your little buckaroo's room.
Sherry's style is considered realistic. Mediums of choice are acrylics, pastels and charcoal sketches, all of which are suitable for framing.
Commission work is accepted for most of my work. Examples of my work can be seen at Log Cabin Days Fine Arts and Crafts Festival the fourth weekend in May annually in Pikeville, TN. My art is available for sale and viewing at http://www.loxleystudio.com, and new work is added regularly. Email: jpaglen@bledsoe.net or call 423-447-5157 or 423-322-2282.
